All Canty 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students are invited for an evening of FUN! Dinner, dessert, and festivities are included for the ticket price of $20. Students will also receive 1 free raffle ticket; additional raffle tickets are available to purchase - $2 each or 3/$5, cash only.

Unfortunately, we have had to make the decision to cancel the Gold Gala due to low turn out.

While the family dance is not a fundraiser for Friends of Canty, we have to at least be close to breaking even for the event. F.o.C. can take a small loss, but with the low number of participants, the funds we lost would have taken away from other activities planned for the students and school.

We are disappointed to make this decision and hope that participation will be better for the next family dance.

Families who turned in their slips and money will be issued a refund this week. Please email Info@FriendsOfCanty.org with any questions.

Students are welcome to dress formally, or if they prefer, come in jeans and a nice shirt....they choose, we just want them there!

$30 price includes 1 raffle ticket, a full catered dinner (salad, entree, sides, bread), beverages, dessert, dj & dancing, photo booth, and decorations. FUN! Additional raffle tickets are $2 each or 3/$5. All raffles are valued at $100 or more!!

No tricks, all fun!  We're shutting down the block so Canty students & siblings can trunk or treat from 6 - 7, then from 7 - 8:30 we'll have a family movie in the field. Bring blankets or chairs for the movie. All children 17 and younger MUST be with an adult at all times.

We will have 2 food trucks  (That's Fire Catering and Tacos Los Jarochitos) on site to purchase dinner & drinks. Menus will be posted soon.

Taffy apples & chocolate covered pretzels can be ordered only until October 10th. Our order will be placed on 10/11; delivery will be either 10/16 or 17 based on when the company sets our pick up.  We will email all who order with pick up the date and time.

When you go to Curriculum Night from 5-7 p.m., make sure to stop by the pop up Scholastic Bookfair outside the cafeteria from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

Make your first day of school easier & drop off your students supplies before school starts!

• At 1 p.m., Mrs. Rath will welcome everyone back to school in the auditorium.

• From 1:30-3:00, you & your children can visit their classrooms to find their lockers and drop off supplies.

• Also at 1:30 is the PreK orientation meeting.

• From2:00-3:15 is the Friends of Canty Popsicle Party on the playground.

• At 3:00 is  the Forward to 1st Grade parent meeting.
